Sign Preliminary Contract ( Week 1 )
- Sign preliminary construction agreement
- Receive Standard Available Options price list
- Schedule Site Visit & Pre-Construction Meeting #1
- Community Sales Manager orders boundary survey & plans
Meet With Lender ( Week 1 )
- Apply for financing within 5 days of Preliminary Contract
Design Center Orientation ( Week 1-2 )
- Guided tour of Design Center
- Obtain interior options & price sheets
Site Visit ( Week 2 )
- Review plot / site plan (easements & setbacks)
- Review site conditions, accessibility & utility locations
Pre-Construction Meeting #1 ( Week 2 )
- Allow 2 hours for this meeting
- Determine layout of house, garage & driveway
- Review architectural plans
- Submit Redraw Request form (if applicable)
- Finalize exterior selections
- Finalize change requests
- Schedule Plan Review meeting
Approve Plot Plan ( Week 3 )
- Customer approves plot plan
- Trendmaker orders soil test
Approve Final Plans ( Week 5 )
- Customer approves final plans
Plan Review Meeting ( Week 6 )
- Allow 2 hours for this meeting
- Document changes & options on change order
- Note: Final Plans must be approved beforehand.
Design Center Appointment ( Week 7 )
- Allow 2 hours for this meeting
- Finalize & document interior selections
- Note: Design Center orientation & Plan Review meeting must be completed beforehand.
Sign Final Contract ( Week 8 )
- Allow 2 hours for this meeting
- Review site, community & city/county requirements
- Review all changes & selections
- Sign final contract
Obtain Permits ( Week 10 )*
- Trendmaker submits for ACC / POA approval
*Length of time varies per city / county
Obtain ACC / POA Approval ( Week 12 )*
- Approval letter received from ACC / POA
*Length of time varies per community
Close On Construction Loan ( Week 13 )
Pre-Construction Meeting #2 ( Week 14 )
- Review all change orders with Sales & Builder
- Review communication, safety & construction process
